I started my own pet sitting business in August, 2000 because I have always loved animals and wanted to help other people and their pets.

We moved to Houston one year ago for my husband to complete a year of training for his job. Being new to town, we were concerned about finding someone to care for our beloved black labrador, Buddy, when we traveled. The manager of our complex recommended Brenda’s service. She proved to be extremely reliable, flexible, & caring in providing midday walks for our dog.

Brenda was extremely prompt in returning phone calls & emails to schedule walks. She was able to accommodate schedule changes with short notice when necessary. On one occasion when she was out of town, she provided a substitute who was also extremely reliable & professional. Most importantly, she was affectionate toward Buddy. Employees of my apartment complex would often comment on how sweet she was with Buddy when they saw her walking with him.

Brenda Gordon of “Houston Precious Pet Care” fed and walked my three dogs and two cats for four days while I was on vacation. She demonstrated sensitivity and good judgment when caring for the pets. On chilly nights she placed the dogs overnight in a special indoor room which was warmer than their usual outdoor “dog room.”Brenda decided to walk the dogs in two shifts. Brenda walked the two small, lively dogs separately from the older, large dog. Brenda did a great job. She is a responsible and trustworthy person. – Ron

I called upon Brenda Gordon of “Houston Precious Pet Care” at very short notice to collect my two Miniature Schnauzers, Sebastian and Bunky, from United Airlines Air Cargo Depot of Bush Inter-Continental Airport and bring them to my home in the Piney Point section of Houston. My pets had spent a very long journey traveling from Australia to the United States.

Brenda demonstrated a wonderful sensitivity towards my dogs. Upon claiming them, she provided them with water, offered them doggy biscuits and took them for a short walk before the drive to my home. Rather than have my dogs confined once again to their transportation cages, Brenda permitted them to sleep on the seat beside her for the journey home. She also called me on her mobile to confirm the dogs had been released to her care, and she reassured me of the dogs’ well being.

Brenda did a great job, and my dogs warmed to her very quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending Brenda to anyone who is looking for a caring, responsible and trustworthy person to care for their pets. – Susan
